Saxophonist Richard Elliot's first major gig was in the horn section of the world famous soul/funk group, Tower of Power. In 2013, Elliot's collaborative 2013 release, Summer Horns found him teaming up with fellow saxophonists Dave Koz, Gerald Albright and Mindi Abair - the album was nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Pop Instrumental Album

Today, Richard Elliot tours the world, playing clubs, festivals and jazz cruises as a leader and as part of all-star smooth/contemporary jazz groups with musicians such as Norman Brown and Rick Braun.
