A well-established name in the instrumental metal genre, Rithiya has been assiduously working to develop exceptionally unique sound quality. Rithiya approaches his individuality through infusions with dense influences from classical, symphonic, neo-classical and progressive genres.
Born in Boston, MA and currently a resident of Lawrence, MA, Rithiya’s music is enriched with darkness that feels almost as exquisite as a gourmet cuisine. His journey into the world of music commenced from a young age. Ever since he was little, he was deeply inspired by his father and brother and to be like them, he walked in their wake to pursue a career as a musician.
Rithiya prefers his shows to be highly energetic with a captivating background of lighting. His shows entail soaring lead with epic symphonic elements that fill up the venue with energy and enthusiasm. So far, one of the coolest and most important shows in his career was his performance at the Providence Metal Fest & Emergenza.
Rithiya’s music, according to his fans, flows smoothly, consuming them wholesomely and creating a dramatic illusion that seems to overpower the brutal picture of reality. Rithiya believes that his styles are inspired by artists such as, InFlames, Dimmu Borgir, Jeff Loomis and Joe Satriani.
So far, Rithiya has shared the stage with notable names in the music industry such as Within The Ruins, Shadows Fall, Angel Vivaldi, Misery Index, Lord Dying, The Human Abstract, Die Cast, God forbid, Arsis, 1349, Krisiun, Insomnium, Goat Whore, Chthonic, 3 Inches Of Blood, Full Blown Chaos, Mnemic, Thy Will Be Done, Skinless, Edguy, Into Eternity, Light This City, Echos Of Eternity, The Agonist, Hell Within, Marc Rizzo, Joe Stump, and Diamond Head.
With his latest release, ‘The Finite Cycle’ hitting the charts, Rithiya is now focused on releasing the ‘Eviscerated Realm’ LP. He is also planning a 4 day tour to promote the release. He is also working on constructing visuals for his single releases and will be distributing his independent records to record stores in the US and selected stores in the UK, Germany, Russia, Norway and Sweden.
